On Friday March 13th Cuisine on the Green will be hosting a Tap-Take-Over with Flying Fish Brewery. Flying Fish Brewery will be taking over our taps! Come out to support New Jersey's breweries, talk with the reps, enjoy pint specials and food pairings, speak with representatives, learn about the local craft beer movement, and of course enjoy the best food around!”
REDFISH - 7%
Pairs with bold foods such as brisket, burgers, pork, port and cheddar cheeses. West Coast hoppy red ale. Columbus, Chinook and Cascade hops give the beer a robust piney nose. Two-row, crystal and cara-red malts give the beer a malty background and a 7% abv.
HOPFISH - 6.2%
Pairs with spicy food, pizza, and heartier food (great appetite stimulant). Deep golden color, plenty of hop bitterness balanced by malt sweetness. Because of the extensive dry hopping, there’s a floral and citrus hop finish. It’s then lightly filtered to maintain the appropriate body and flavor. The beer features a combination of American, English and German malts to balance the large amount of hops. The HopFish also uses three hop varieties at five different times and has been dry-hopped for two weeks with 22lbs of Nugget whole leaf hops.
GRAND CRU- 7.2%
Pairs with smoked meats and cheeses, rich dishes, and stew. This strong golden ale showcases a variety of the ingredients and brewing methods that help differentiate Flying Fish beers. The Grand Cru is fermented at a higher temperature than our other beers adding an undercurrent of fruitiness (although there is no fruit in the beer). Very lightly filtered, the Grand Cru exhibits complex mouthfeel, strong malt flavors, a spicy hop presence and a soothing alcohol warmth, followed by a clean, dry finish. Bottle conditioned, it is excellent with food as well as served by itself.
EXIT 4 - 9.5%
Pairs with fish, roasted veggies, shrimp and strong cheese. As one of the first craft brewers to embrace Belgian-style beers, we’ve chosen to start with a Belgian trippel, finished with plenty of American hops. Note the hazy golden hue and the aroma of citrus with hints of banana and clove. Then taste the Belgian malt flavors and a subdued bitterness in the finish. Bottle conditioned, this beer will develop as it ages. Enjoy
